Infant Holy Infant Lowly tells the story of Jesus’s birth on Christmas night. This instrumental version is widely dynamic, beginning with a pastorale oboe and French horn feature, building to a crescendoed looping phrase (“Christ the Babe was born for you!”). Returns to oboe and French horn under high sustained strings for a peaceful ending. Other instrumentation available upon request.
