The time between Halloween and New Years Day is filled with laughter, joy, family…and Nutcracker and Messiah gigs, extra services to program, end-of-the-year recitals and student invoices to send, and holiday performances

It’s a lot. Come November 1st, you buckle your seat belt and don’t exhale again until January 1st. If you completed your programming plans by September 30th, my hat is off to you. But if you are one of the many still working out the last of the Sunday special music slots, choosing solo pieces for the recital, or looking for one more great little number as a concert encore, perhaps I can help.

My catalog includes a combination of sacred and secular instrumental and vocal pieces. My arrangements are known for being well-crafted, engaging, and emotional. With leanings towards folk, jazz, rock, tango and minimalism, everything I write is classically-leaning, including some re-orchestrated takedowns of classical pieces. Most of my holiday catalog was written as commissions for live projects; audio recordings from those performances - if allowed - are included. If not, I offer a MIDI demo for your reference. My prices include both score and parts for unlimited live performances that don’t include recording for sale purposes.

Although the timing now is a little tight for a commissioned arrangement for Christmas, if you’re considering it for yourself or your ensemble, let’s talk. A piece tailored for you and your audience is a great option, and it’s not as costly as you might think. Email me here to get the conversation started.

I’m excited to share my catalog with you and hope there’s something in there that fulfills a need you have as a performer, educator and sacred musical professional. Best of luck with your holiday music season! When the last of the parts is collected, the accompanist is paid and your get to go home, know that - despite your fatigue - you gave a tremendous gift to your audience. And inspiration and hope are truly the gifts that keeps on giving.

Happy Holidays, everyone!
